Dr. Ashley Decillo – Veterinarian
Dr. Ashley Decillo joins Safari Veterinary Care Centers following several years of experience working in and managing a busy veterinary emergency and critical care hospital. A graduate of Texas A&M University, she went on to complete a rotating internship at BluePearl Specialty Hospital, where she discovered her passion for emergency and internal medicine. Her growing interests in cardiology and radiology led her to pursue advanced training in diagnostic imaging, earning certifications in soft tissue imaging and echocardiography through the Academy of Veterinary Imaging. Dr. Decillo brings not only clinical expertise but a deep commitment to compassionate care in high-pressure situations, offering both pets and their families clarity and comfort when it matters most. Outside the clinic, Dr. Decillo stays just as busy at home. She is the proud mother of two children: Gianluca, a student at Texas A&M University, and Isabella, who will soon be attending Boston College. Her household is also full of furry love, thanks to her three dogs—Odin, Freya, and Tater. When she’s not caring for pets or people, you’ll likely find her running, out on the water, playing pickleball, or doing just about anything that keeps her active and outdoors.
