Kimberly Barajas – Business Administrator
Hello, my name is Kimberly. I am a UHCL alumna who has lived in the area my whole life. I have over 25 years’ experience in Veterinary and Human medicine and have always had a passion for animals ever since I was a little girl. My career began as a Veterinary Surgical Technician specializing in Neurology and Orthopedics for over 10 years at local specialty practices. After obtaining multiple degrees, I switched to over 10 years in Practice Management. I have been with Safari Veterinary Care Centers since 2022, originally as the Pearland Practice Manager and now as the Business Administrator for all 3 Safari businesses (League City, Pearland and Stem Cell). I have 3 children, a daughter and two sons, who also share that same love for animals. We have 4 fur babies, a Golden Retriever named Blue, a rescued brindle terrier mix pup named Bean, two sweet rescue kitties named Lucifer and Theo (thank you League City Animal Shelter!), a rescued leopard gecko named Lemon and my daughter has a couple of other reptiles as well including a corn snake named Pepper. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my children and fur babies. We also enjoy fostering and volunteering for local animal shelters and rescue groups.
